In each distant or hardcore town, at most one, sometimes none, of this rare 
Distinction is given to the best, the luckiest or the most devious citizen and also grants 
Brothers in Arms charges.
Activity[edit]
There are 2 requirements for a 
Citizen to earn 
Last Man Standing:
- The
Town must have survived for at least 5 complete days - the fifth day counts as well. - The citizen must be the last person killed by the zombies during
The Attack which 
Devastates the Town - also earning the 
Dead in your bed and 
Last line of defence Distinctions; any other method of death disqualifies the citizen from earning this distinction.
Titles[edit]
After accumulating certain amounts of Last Man Standing Distinctions the following titles will be unlocked:
- 10× = Zombie favourite
- 15× = Last Boy Scout
- 30× = Dances with Hordes
- 50× = Me vs. the Horde!
- 100× = Equal to Chuck Norris
Brothers in Arms Reward[edit]
The Brothers in Arms charges given are based on how long the Citizen survived before the Town was devastated. Brothers in Arms allows a 
Hero to spend one available 
Heroic Action once per town to another citizen.
The formula for Brothers in Arms charges awarded are as follows:
- Devoured during the night attack of day 5 or before: no award
- Devoured during the night between day 6 and 8: 1 charge + distinction
- Devoured during the night between day 9 and 10 : 2 charges + distinction
- Devoured during the night between day 11 and 15: 3 charges + distinction
- Devoured during the night between day 16 and 20: 4 charges + distinction
- Devoured during the night day 21 or thereafter: 5 charges + distinction
If the Last Man Standing already got Brothers in Arms charges before, the amount awarded will be added to the number of charges remaining.

Notes[edit]
- If multiple citizens fulfill these requirements (two or more citizens are present during the devastating attack), then the last survivor, the one who will earn Last Man Standing is chosen completely at random. If no citizens fulfill all requirements - the town is devastated before night 5, or that nobody is present when the town is devastated (everyone chose to camp, or everyone died from other causes first) - then nobody earns the distinction.
