Saw a completed car door in the Bank, and just had to confirm the +1 Control Point bit. It's correct; put a Car Door in your rucksack, and walk a zone away from town, and you'll see in the lower left of the area display: (human figure) 3 points. Of course, taking up a rucksack slot, and a Heavy one at that, is a big price for that CP. --Terion 14:35, 28 January 2011 (PST)

Someone in m,y town pointed out that the car door does not give any home decoration, I tried it and fact is: The car door does NOT give any home decoration, only home defences. I wrote a thread in the help forum mentioning the bug issue. - Binks92, 3 October, 19:16 (PDT)

Most defence objects do not give decoration points, but are still classed as decoration by the game. I think its an internal state that means it has some effect when placed in your chest. Usually this includes decorations points but many of the decoration items give no points and instead have some other effect. Padlock and Chain as another example gives 0 decoration points but has the additional effect of preventing theft from your house. Discordance 06:36, 4 October 2011 (PDT)
