Skills give certain bonuses for the Citizen. It is not possible to activate them all at once, so choose wisely!

Basic skills[edit]

SUPER skills[edit]

  • By picking a Hero profession (all Jobs except Resident) at the start of a Town, the Citizen gets access to the SUPER skills.
  • The SUPER skills are divided into 5 groups (Strategist, University, Prepared, Enduring and Reclusive) of 4 levels each (Beginner, Apprentice, Expert, Master).
    • Note: The levels are sometimes numbered consecutively and the groups are abbreviated (Example: E2 is equal to Enduring at Apprentice level).
  • All 5 Beginner levels are already unlocked and activated for each town (thus are the lowest levels of Heroic Actions which are part of them).
  • All 5 Apprentice levels are also unlocked, however not automatically activated at the start of a town. Power points need to be used to temporarily activate these skills for the current town.
  • All 5 Expert and Master levels are not unlocked. Experience points need to be used to permanently unlock these skills before they can be temporarily activated with Power points for the current town. Unlocked Expert and Master level skills can be sold again to get the Experience points back (for example to unlock other skills or to buy Power points).

•  Treachery: Robbing citizens is possible even if they are in town

•  Omniscience: like Clairvoyance, except that you now get an overview of the activity of all town’s citizens
•  Resourcefulness: Shrewd Citizen's Stash at the start of town
•  Preventative Medicine: First aid kit at the start of town
Expert•  Healthy Body: 1 additional zone control point if you are not "thirsty" or "dehydrated"
•  Architect: Common blueprint at the start of the city
•  Resourcefulness: Lunch Box (instead of Doggybag) at the start of the city
Master•  Healthy Body: 1 additional zone control point if you are not "drunk" or "hungover"
•  Architect: Worn Leather Bag (instead of blueprint) at the start of the city
•  Resourcefulness: Cello case at the start of town

•  Oxygen tank: 30 extra O² in explorable ruins

Reclusive[edit]

•  Sweet Revenge: If you are shunned on day 3 or later, you will automatically receive 2 vials of poison and one Toxin with which to exact your revenge... Yeah, they'd better not **** with you now!
•  Refuser: 1 additional garbage rummaging per day
Master•  Heroic Return (15km)
•  Pro Camper: Allows survival chance to be up to 99% when camping
•  Incredible Find (replaces Impressive Find)


Power points[edit]

  • Power points temporarily activate unlocked SUPER Skills for the duration of the user's current Town.
  • All available Power points can be engaged at the start of a Town, however these points are not spent. Power points remain accessible for use in subsequent Town's (except for a bonus Skill point obtained via Last Man Standing, or some other feature not a bug method).
    • Players are not obligated to use their available Power points when entering a Town.
  • One Power point is required to engage each Skill level above Beginner (EG: Beginner level is always activated - 1 Power point is required for Apprentice - 2 Power points are required to activate Enduring Expert).
  • How many Power points a player starts a new Town with is baseline dependent on their Souls points:
    • 0–99 Soul points = 0 Power points
    • 100–199 Soul points = 2 Power points
    • 200 Soul points and above = 4 Power points
  • Power points can be temporarily increased by;
    • Purchasing +1 Power point for the cost of 200 Experience points. This type of Skill point has a lifespan of 100 days after purchase.
      • Only 2 Power points can be held at the same time.
    • Being the MOFO Last Man Standing (access to +1 Power point, once only within 7 days of the award).

Experience points[edit]

  • Experience points are needed for unlocking Expert and Master levels of the SUPER skills:
    • Unlocking an Expert level costs 40 Experience points.
    • Unlocking a Master level costs 80 Experience points (the Expert level of this group has to be unlocked first, so 120 Experience points overall).
  • Experience points are gained through simply surviving in a town or getting certain achievements.
    • Some Experience points can be gained multiple times, others only once per season.
